As noted, former WWE star Chyna was found dead on Wednesday in her Los Angeles-area home. The Redondo Beach police department issued the following statementto the Los Angeles Times regarding her death:
The Redondo Beach Police received a 911 call from a friend of the apartment unit resident that the female inside was not breathing.
The friend told Redondo Beach Police that the female had not answered her phone in a few days, and went to the location to check on her welfare. Officers arrived on scene and discovered a deceased female inside the location.
TMZ.com has noted that officials are investigating her death as a possible drug overdose and that prescription bottles were reportedly found in her home
